For 1/2 X 1/8" Chain to connect the ends BRAND NEW, HAS NEVER BEEN INSTALLED COMES IN THE ORIGINAL, UNOPENED PACKAGING WILL BE SHIPPED WITH INSURED 2-DAY USPS MAIL WITHIN 24 HOURS This is a new 3-piece master link for a 1/2" x 1/8" chain which is the kind that is on almost all coaster brake bicycles, BMX bicycles, and 3-speed bicycles. It is for connecting the ends of the chain. The color is black. The brand is Sunlite. It is in a sealed plastic bag that the factory placed it in. It is NOT for bicycles that have a derailleur. See "How to put on a 3-piece master link" below. Some BMX bicycles have a heavy duty chain with wider side plates than the usual width, and this master link will NOT fit those extra wide chains. Some BMX bicycles have a narrower 3/32" chain , and this master link will NOT fit those narrow chains. HOW TO CHECK THE WIDTH OF YOUR CHAIN TO SEE IF IT IS 1/8" OR 3/32". You do not need to take off your chain. If the width of your chain is 1/8", then you can put 2 quarters between the sideplates of an inside link but you cannot put 2 nickels. If the width of your chain is 3/32", then you can put 2 dimes between the sideplates of an inside link but you cannot put 2 pennies between them. When putting coins between the sideplates, put a piece of white paper under the chain with a light shining on the paper. This way, if both coins are not actually going all the way down between the sideplates, you can see a space under one of the coins where it does not go all the way down. So, if one of the coins does not go all the way down between the sideplates, you can conclude that those 2 coins will not go between the sideplates because the width of the coins are too large. HOW TO PUT ON A 3-PIECE MASTER LINK: Put the side with the posts in the chain. Place the other side on. Push the spring clip on to hold the side of the link on. ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS
